About Me

So I took the long way around.
I've been working as a games programmer for a few years now, and I love it. I've worked on one published triple A console title for a large company that closed the studio I worked at down. I've then worked for another slightly less triple A developer on a project that will more than likely never see the light at the end of the tunnel, and if it does metacritic wont be very kind, and I've now released over a handful of iPhone titles while working for a small indie studio.
I really love my job. The only problem is aside from not getting paid enough is that I never seem to get/find time to write my own code for me.
I've never written my own fully working, entirely awesome game engine. I've dabbled, but never got anything past the held together with good intentions stage, and I've written a lot of engine code for the companies I've worked for, enough that I should have my own engine, or at least a goodly sized chunk of one.
So I've finally decided to get behind this whole blogging thing in the hope that it can cure some of my apathy and I'll be updating this with progress on developing my own little multi-platform games engine.
